The MILES AWAY “ENDLESS ROADS TASSIE TOUR” starts this Friday in Launceston, lasting two days MA will play 3 killer shows accross our fine state.

Jacquie and myself are going our seperate ways with events/local music scene involvement after the Miles Away tour (Sept 24th @ The Hub, Laun. 25th @ The Bris, Hobart). With this change there will be new involvement from some familiar faces and a new name.

MAELSTROM MUSIC.

Anyway nothing is new really, same old deal as usual. Watch out for a few more shows before the years end, and hopefully a realease I’ve been caining to do for ages now. The new involvement will be unveiled soon, and will also include a collaboration works with a very talent local graf artist who plans to put his talent towards printing designs on shirts etc. This may also be happening with another local talent, a typeography artist. Pretty exciting stuff really.

Miles Away “Endless Roads Tour”

Perth 5-piece Miles Away are set to confirm their standing at the top of the hardcore heap with their awe-inspiring third album, Endless Roads.

The culmination of eight years of hard work, heartache and good times, Endless Roads is the sound of a passionate, road-hardened band at the height of their powers. Three years on from their previous effort, 2007’s Rewind Repeat, Miles Away are older, wiser and more determined than ever.

“We’ve all matured and that’s come through in our writing,”

says MA guitarist Adam Crowe.

“This time we set out with different intentions for each song. We wanted some short, fast songs, some heavier songs and also some epic, drawn-out songs…”

Written last year during some rare downtime, Endless Roads was recorded in early 2010 at Wild Arctic studios in New York by producer Dean Baltulonis (Sick Of It All, American Nightmare), and will be released on August 20.

Currently on a tour throughout Europe, this September / October the band will return to home soil for the Endless Roads Tour.
